I had around 2-3 months of tutoring with Debbie to help me with my Geography A level in 2024 as I had had issues with teaching at my school and did poorly in my January mock. Debbie is really good at explaining the concepts in a clear way. The tutoring sessions were always engaging and interesting. It was also really useful when she would mark my practice essays and provide me with constructive feedback that I could implement. Overall she helped me feel more confident going into my exam and in the end helped me achieve an A grade.

Debbie taught my son for four years, until he was 16. She is so wonderfully passionate about what she teaches and sharing her knowledge. This comes across in her enthusiasm and willingness to pick up on details that interest the child she is teaching and to go deeply into exploring them, which enables the child to get such a breadth of understanding.

Debbie is warm, friendly, always positive and utterly engaging. She was able to put my son at ease and has instilled in him a life long love of ‘earth science’. Her knowledge of her subject areas is inspiring and she has the rare gift of being able to impart that knowledge in a way that is fun and exciting, whilst always holding a gentle and strong space for the child to learn in.
